Athletic Training
High School Athletic Training and Brookside Physical Therapy
In 2005 Brookside Physical Therapy was asked to provide athletic training services for the
Adams 12 Five Star High Schools. The five high schools include Thornton, Northglenn, Legacy,
Horizon, and the Mountain Range High School (opened fall 2006).
The athletic trainers are on site for all varsity home sports contests and are available to all
athletes for injury management and rehabilitation. All Athletic Trainers are certified through the
National Athletic Trainers Association. Steve Rath is the head trainer for the district and spends
his time taking care of Horizon High School. You may reach our trainers by contacting them
