Low Back Pain

Low back pain can affect up to 80% of people at some point in their life and is one of the leading causes of job-related disability. Most patients are referred to physical therapy for initial treatment and have good success with decreasing pain, improving function, and preventing pain in the future. We take care to thoroughly examine every patients to find the cause and develop an individualized plan of care. When you have an initial appointment, we will review history, ask about symptoms, and perform tests to assess muscle strength, flexibility, posture, joint mobility, and movement. We are also trained to screen for more serious health conditions like broken bones or cancer that may be causing pain. Through this treatment approach, we are ensuring that you get the best care with the most effective outcomes.
